State Controller John Chiang and Assemblymember Ed Hernandez Announce Their Support for Steve Neal

Steve Neal, candidate for Long Beach City Council, 9th District, today announced the endorsements of State Controller John Chiang and 57th District Assemblymember Ed Hernandez.

State Controller John Chiang and Assemblymember Ed Hernandez join a number of elected officials, local businesses owners, clergy and community leaders in supporting Steve Neal in his bid to represent Long Beach’s 9th District on the Long Beach City Council. The 9th District includes the communities of: DeForest Park, Coolidge Triangle, Houghton Park, College Square, Longwood, Jordan, Cherry Square, Hamilton, and Ramona Park.

The Long Beach Primary Election will take place Tuesday, April 13, 2010.

Grant Neighborhood Association and the North Long Beach Community Action Group Candidate’s Forum

Steve Neal, candidate for Long Beach City Council, 9th District, has accepted an invitation to participate in a candidate’s town hall meeting hosted by the Grant Neighborhood Association and the North Long Beach Community Action Group. The event will take place on Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Presbyterian Church (6380 Orange Ave. Long Beach, CA 90805).
